They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. I would string them along and agree to the

I ve just been called by this number, when I picked up the call, there was no sound, no answer, so I ended the call, then got a withheld number calling literally a minute later, which went to voicemail (the message was unintelligable). Then a minute later I got an SMS to my mobile from 08447362490 asking them to call back on that number. Searching that number indicates it s from Link Financial Outsourcing, a debt collection company.
Scam tries to get you to pay a non existant settlement. If in doubt call royal mail directly.

An absolute scam they said they are from BAT yet say they got information from public records?????? Needs shutting down and jail operatives .needless to say they got nothing from me. Insulation. They claim it's a survey, but you know it's a scam. Silence on line for several seconds. (I do not say anything when answering unknown numbers just to see if it is a robot messenging call). When questioned about what company he was representing, the man purported to be an energy adviser from the Insulation Advice Line. I asked him if he could provide his company number. He replied 'No'. He was rude and talked over me. The threat of reporting him because of TPS violation did not phase him.
Rang this morning, but showed as as an International (02??) call so I ignored it. When I went back into the phone to see my unanswered calls, it showed a sthis number.

A man kept asking the same question again and again. I thought perhaps he was drunk or on drugs. I asked him to remove my number from the database. He hung up. An hour and a half later, another man rang from the same number, after I told him what had happened and what I thought of his colleague, he asked if he could just try to find me a cheaper quote for my utilities. I asked if all their staff are incapable of understanding the English language. At which point he told me he would remove my number.
