I was called by number 090432929, not 09043967, and this number is from Great Britain? I don't know anybody from Great Britain! We keep getting calls from strangers who most likely just want to sell us something, but I don't even pick up the phone anymore when we receive such calls and the number is not from my hometown. For that reason I once again don't know who exactly called us this time, but it's annoying!

Message sent claiming to be my child and to block their old number and text this new number from now on. I asked which child and was told to guess... amazingly I guessed the name correctly! (even though I have no kids). I'm guessing this long lost child would probably eventually ask for some money or something...

This 20040 number is fairly new to me.. Only five digits? I never picked up; though when returning the call out of curiosity.. there's just a dead line tone.

this number has been calling me several times per day for around 2 weeks, when I answered it was a telemarketing company telling me I had been involved in an accident (I haven t) when I responded with "well you know more about this than I do" the caller hung up and didn t call again so I will definitely be using that tactic in the future

SCAM Every day, two or three times per day. Arrogant woman argued with me that I had registered my number to have a call back from her. No way! They are online trading people. I told her several times do not call me again. She was not for giving in. Eventually I told her to F-off.
SPAM - message you saying ‘can you please save my new number mum’. I responded with ‘who are you’ Their response ‘your oldest child mum’ My response ‘what is your name?’ They stopped responding. This did not come from any child of mine. BEWARE

My brother got a call from this number asking for a gas meter reading. He was not sure where the caller was from but a 1471 and internet search brought up this number as belonging to British Gas. However I am not with British Gas but with Southern Electric, for at least the last 6 years. I called Southern Electric who said they did not call for any reading and would not do so. It turns out those businesses are their other client's debtors too and they use their private data illegally. Unfortunately we fell for this scam and paid. The Police let them get away with it as civil matter. The Courts are our only hope.
