Fraud SCAM Fraud Claimed to be from Vodaphone, said that an attempt to change my account number had been flagged up, called my number to verify with an old address (first flag) Second flag was when I asked if I could have a verification email I received a what amounted to a "yes but hurry up and give me the number" And of course, when I received a recovery/account change text, the first words of said text were DO NOT TELL ANYONE THIS NUMBER, POLICE OR VODAPHONE EMPLOYEES INCLUDED. Had a call from this number, claiming to be from O2. Very quickly followed by a OTP text from O2. Hung up. Called O2 - these guys are scammers. NEVER EVER GIVE OUT A OTP...

The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.

Message to say I had spent £ 700 press 1 if this is correct / press 2 if ... this went to my work phone so could not be linked to any banking detail not sure what would have happened if i pressed a number . I check my bank acc to be sure. no banking appeared

rang this number believing it to be PayPal, I now know it wasn't. HE HAD HACKED INTO MY ACCOUNT GAVE ME ALL THE INFORMATION TO SOUND LIKE IT WAS PLAUSIBLE BUT I BECAME SUSPICIOUS WHEN ASKED FOR CARD DETAILS. DO NOT RING THIS NUMBER

Message left on my phone from this number regarding setting up a new card and if I hadnt asked for a card to be set up to press a keyI just hung up I then called Bank of Scotland and they confirmed that the number isnt related to them or any of their related businessesits a scam number

This is a computer generated voice (sounds like Mel B from the Spice Girls) and operated by someone typing the answers……why is Russia calling????? Can only be for one purpose to exploit a scam and fraud…….do not engage ….hang up tell them to get a life and new job…..happy hunting comrade…????

I have recieved 2 calls from this number, both times the person reports to be from Amazon Business and seeking that I set up a business account. Amazon have checked this out and its definitely not them, so must therefore be a nuisance or scam. The person calling knows your name.

SCAM Said they have a refund from HMRC because I incorrectly paid tax on a PPI claim which I did not make. Scary that they have my mobile number, my name and my post code thought. Someone being selling my data.

Stated that I'm eligible for my covid pass on the 15/3/2022 the number is based in Manchester (I live in Glasgow so come under the Scotland NHS)

Silent call Likely to be a call centre scammer. Other sites suggest a false front number presented by 'appliance insurance' who are just after card details.
