Asked me to confirm my name and address. When I asked why the person wanted this information, the call was cancelled.
A Google search indicates that the number, if genuine, belongs to a charity called Mary s Meals, which operates in several cities and provides meals for deprived children.
Someone from this number called me tonight - why do they think it s acceptable to call at meal times? or any time when I have not asked them to. I have done 1471 before and found they have tried to call me. TPS cannot seem to block them out. Do they not understand that most people do not trust them and do not want to speak to them?!!

She did give a company name but I couldn t get it. wouldn t say what it concerned just kept insisting on information regarding my number and my address.
