Just took a call from this number - they asked for me by name and then said I had recently entered a competition and thats how they got my number and they wanted to save me money on my power supplier - I politely explained I wasnt the bill payer and wasn t interested. The guy then demanded to speak to the bill payer - I told him they are not available and not interested. He then went on a rant at me - at which point I hung up and blocked the number. I was called by a man called Shane Bennet who tried to get me to buy itunes cards to claim £4,200 from PPI. I tried to call the court but could not get through to anyone so I had a look online. Whilst searching online I came across a website about fraud which led me here. On looking at this website I found some similarities with my call, Mr Anthony Page, for instance, coming to my house to deliver the cheque. The female caller from this number asked to speak to my wife by name. When I asked who was calling, she replied with the company name, which I didn t catch, and that it was in connection with our washing machine warranty. Our machine is about 14 years old, so the warranty ran out years ago! Number now blocked.

Barclays SCAM! Claimed that they were calling in relation to fraudulent activity on my account, but I soon got suspicious when they asked me to "confirm" my debit card details. They asked me if I insured my car with a company called "Alan's Motors", but when I said I thought I did they actually tried to convince me that I didn't. Overall, FRAUDULENT number, do not give any details to this number! SCAMMERS!

Then rang EE but they apparently can't give me a refund, but they at least have stopped more from coming through.. rang the number and they apparently have referred me to another team to get a refund but i dont believe it...
