Repeated calls to a number that's only known to family and won't take the hint to leave me alone, and despite all the calls I still don't know who they are. Have just made an official complaint against this number.

Caller claimed to be from BT openreach calling about internet issues. They asked me to run a speed test and when I said I had 69 download and 18 upload they said that the difference was an issue. When I pointed out that it was always like that, and wasn't supposed to be the same they hung up. Obviously a scam.

I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.

Rang off as soon as the realised they were rumbled and I was running reverse tracing on them. South African IP and call number spoofing. Beware, very clever question structure to get you to reveal sensitive data.

It claims to be "EVRI", wanting to reschedule a parcel delivery... I'm not expecting any parcel, so I'm sure it's just another one of the vast amount of scams that are going around. I do not know this number and they did not leave a message, guess it is a scam number.
Indian man who claimed to be from EE then claimed to be calling on behalf of all major mobile carriers and listed Virgin, O2, Vodaphone etc, demanded repeatedly my phone bill. Sounded hostile and claimed to be offering a 40% discount. The sound of chatter could be heard in the background. Block this number. Fraud/Scam. They say that they are calling from your bank regarding 2 fraudulent transactions. I know very well that no known bank has Head Quarters based in Meriden. Scam/Fraud!! Be aware!!
They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.
Unsolicited and unknown cold call that follows an Amazon card scam call therefore strongly suspect scammers. Beware this number! Have blocked and reported to Action Fraud!
