claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home. The following steps are suggested:
Unsolicited call - wanted to sell me something to block unsolicited nuisance sales calls. Ironic or what!
Not phoning them back. I don’t know anyone who would phone on a Saturday at 9am, googling their number comes up with no results, so not even a company or a ‘shady company’. Lastly don’t know a soul from Barnsley. From Glasgow

Answerd phone and met with silence, then after about 10 seconds or so call was disconnected.
