If my son wanted them to contact him he certainly would not have given a number he hasn t used for 10 years. They said they had a mobile no and wanted to check if it was still in use but due to data protection, couldnt give me what they had, but could check off the number I have for him. Had a missed called from 020 8068 5977 so rang them back - claimed to be Amazon customer services but I seriously doubt it!!
Claimed to be acting on behalf of 3rd party claiming discomfort since minor bump (2mph) when nobody was in the other vehicle at the time of bump.
Shortly after completing an online purchase I received a voicemail message saying it was from Central Scotland Fraud Prevention and wanted me to ring them back regarding suspicious activity on my bank account. On calling the number on back of my card for 24 hour banking I was told that no suspicious activity had been noted and that call received was fraudulent.
