someone claiming to be from O2 called me just now from this number. They were offering a 30% discount on all my bills until the end of my contract, asked me if I wanted to go ahead and told me I would get two text messages with a code I needed to read back to them. Usefully, the text messages were from O2 (the caller had gone into my profile and done a forgotten password which triggers the texts) but the messages said very clearly not to share the info with anyone, even if they claim to be working from O2.

Said they were calling to offer free inspection of loft insulation because the Government has designated some of the old stuff as "irritant". I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.

Scammers pretending to be from my mobile company wanting to offer me a new deal then wanted my bank details & details about phone account but could not even provide my name from their records. Avoid at all costs.

Scam phone call pretending payments taken from account,not first to come from a Merthyr landline, if you ring it later it don’t exist, seem to ring in mornings about 8-25 am .

Automated voice messaging informing that £500 for gambling + another amount was taken from my account. I replaced the handset after being instructed to press 1, 2 or 3. Checked my account none the less. It was definitely a scammed call.

Fraud These people are Scammers, They left a message saying there had been "Suspicious Activity" on my Bank account. Amazon was supposed to have taken £300 and £11,000 by Western Union. Then the usual press 1 to speak to the next available Scammer. Needless to say, there was NO money taken. They did not ask for anyone in particular and never mentioned any Bank

SPAM: I don't know anyone in OMAGH, N. Ireland. When I answered there seemed to be no one there, then a male voice said 'Hello?' - so I said 'Petunias?' and he put the phone down on me. (I never say 'Hello' or 'Yes' but say a word like 'Petunias' to confuse the caller. It seems to work!)
