SCAM man calling himself Ryan said he was from Virgin Media, asking about my internet connection. Sadly I get scam callers daily, I can tell if it's going to be a proper business call or a scammer by the amount of time it takes to connect, if it takes some time then I know its connecting to a scam call centre on the Indian continent, I can predict they will have an Indian accent and an English Christian name.

Called me now at work and when I answered they hung up, this area code phones me a lot and as it is my home code I answer.
Automated voice that said they were some crime division and that my national insurance number would be suspended. Hung up at this point.
This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!

Fraud This number is being used by a man called George Johnston (aka Paul) of 129 Queensway, West Wickham, BR4 9DT. One of his fraudulent companies is The Door Company but he also pretends to be a locksmith. He visits, gives a quote, asks for a deposit and then makes lame excuses why he can't get there to complete the job. He is playing a dangerous game with people's livelihood.
Fraud SCAM Telephone call from 01376 567981 on Friday 23 June. Voice message claiming unusual use of bank account. Did not identify which bank or which account holder. Obviously attempt at fraud. Left phone line open until call terminated, then blocked telephone number.
