When I answered the phone, there is just an awful recorded message saying it’s from Broomfield Hospital & to press a button to hear more. I didn’t know if it was a scam or not as I have had fraudulent calls that sounded like this!! Didn’t press the button just in case as not expecting to hear from the hospital. A text would have been good.
Didn’t respond to the message as I researched the number first and read a previous comment which suggested it’s a scam. I was suspicious as it’s just from a Mobile number and I have not logged in to any venues?

Said they were calling from "energy research Scotland" and would organise for Penicuik to come and quote for windows which they would be paying 70% of - can t find this organisation online anywhere so guess it s just a misleading sales tactic for above!

Everyone, get yourself a BT Call Blocker Phone 8600 (with Call Guardian) - its brilliant, you will never be worried with these scammers again - it blocks them for you and your friends and family get through. Honestly cannot recommend enough! Had it 3 weeks and its stopped all this rubbish - FABULOUS!

SCAM Claimed to be from HSBC, advising to click link as a new payee Mr C Jones was set up on my account.
They were asking did I have PPI, and asking me about a potential claim. They have called me twice, and twice I have told them not to phone me or this number again. They just hung up.

He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. Answered first call, where automated voice said, Your Amazon Prime membership has just been renewed at a cost of £79.99. If you want to cancel this payment, press 1. I'd cancelled my Amazon Prime membership ages ago! After the first call, screened next few calls to answer machine where no message was left, just silence. Wish these low life scum would f**k off and die!!
