Loft insulation scam. Call centre in the Philippines claiming to represent Insulate UK, who state on their website that they do not do telemarketing. Was given website of insulateuk.com, a conservatory manufacturer.
Telemarketing - Grace from Adecco Recruitment, apparently - cold-texted via WhatsApp!! Won't be opening the message, as don't wish for it to appear as having been read. How's she gotten my phone number anyhow? Annoying to say the least!
SMS messages to this number (and a number of similar numbers) are sent automatically from your iPhone to activate iMessage. It's legit.

Exactly 24 hours laters calls begin claiming to be whatever mobile provider your voicemail said you were with (fake dealer scam). BASC British Association Shooting & Conservation Genuine company, child-called this morning, i wasn't sure if they were looking for donations or trying to sell memberships, as i interrupted the caller very quickly when i realised it wasn't the call that i was waiting for. The caller was very polite, so i only hope that they have removed my number now.

I'm an individual counsellor and this person 'Jack' texted me during my Christmas holiday. He pretended to be a client at first, and I responded in case he was a potential client in need. He then attempted to sell me his "automated systems to attract more counselling clients". I hate spammers who prey on therapists' good natures, and who disrespect our vacation boundaries. Answered the phone, the person on the other end could barely speak English. Hung up, blocked and coincidentally immediately received a call from an 0203 number which I didn’t answer and blocked.

I missed a no caller ID call from Dundee city council, the person gave me this number to call back on. I'm immediately greeted by an American automated voice giving me options to which I decide to hold for assistance cuz none of them mean anything to me.
