silent call to a mobile phone registered with the telephone preference service not to receive cold calls. One of many calls from several 0259 numbers this month, including 02590218820 02591770554 02592035506 02592624616 02593254233 02594981938 02597298073 02598405026 02599718365. Calls to our (call screened, not on BT) number from 0800 044 5265. No message left, multiple attempts on multiple days. Calling that 0800 number says they are Stellar a partner of BT, and to call BT on 0800 028 2272. Don t bother if you aren t on BT. They ll tell you "you aren t on BT, we have no record of you!". Useless. A websearch for Stellar suggests 01294 225300. Calling that number: 1) they confirm the 0800 044 5265 caller ID is them calling on behalf of BT. 2) They ll remove our number from

got a call from this number and they hung up when I answered. few mins later someone rang quoting my name and address saying we had been getting unwanted calls. they could block these calls etc sounded good till charge of 1.90 a month mentioned. i asked who reported these calls but he said it was a general thing people in this area were suffering from. after hung up I checked the number of who called and was same as first caller who had hung up. these are the very same people we dont want calls from surely?

The person knew my name and address BUT the wrong postcode - it was way off! As I said it was the wrong postcode they asked me for mine which I refused to give and told them as they had the wrong information I was not the person they needed.

Just got a call now to my phone that is SUPPOSED to be TPS excluded and ex directory (I will be having words with talktalk in a minute !!) they asked for my wife by name then went into some spiel about PPi claims. Scamming scum.
