Indian accent rang three times in one day, first twice appeared no one on the other end, third time they spoke wanted to know what make washing machine we had. told to mind their own business and not to ring again.

Had recorded call from this number purporting to be from TalkTalk advising to press 2 or broadband would be disconnected within 2 hours.

Recorded message, government scheme replacement boiler. I'm registered with TPS so its safe to assume that this is a scam.

Reckons they have a cheque for £3100 which they say is PPI I wrongly paid on a loan, a local delivery man would deliver the cheque and when it is cleared and the money is in my account he will call again to collect Paysafe Vouchers for £225 which I have to buy and show to the cheque deliverer before he will hand over the cheque. Never answer these. Always follow them up with a web search. Blocked now.

I have no connection with the area or tel no. I did return an item to a company in Cheshire some time ago apart from that it is mystifying.

I was called by someone called Chelsea from carephone who offered me an upgrade phone. She also gave me the number 08448933933 if I had any problems. I did receive the phone but didnt like it. I phoned the number and gave up after 57 minute being on hold. Caller said (with a very Asian accent)she was "Mary-Not-Selling just asking your opinion, ok?" I said it wasn t OK and hung up. I could have said that my opinion was that she was at best a nuisance, but more likely a con artist.
