got loads of calls, finally blacklisted them on my phone. calls come thru then when picked up..they just hang up. not tried calling back as it may be a premium number scam.

Lady knew my last name and claimed to be from a reputable building society - Nationwide. However, she persisted in asking my first name so after she kept pushing, I told her Mrs . She read it out loud but then realised it wasn t what she wanted and so pushed further n asked my full name. I told her just my first - no middle names, then she said Thank you Mam and hung up!

Missed call from someone with an 01582 number. Not on my contact list so no return call made. I expect it's a scam caller thinking I am stupid.

Claiming to be the police following a scam HMRC call. I called the number back and it is indeed the police, but they said no-one on that number had called. Be careful

I was checking my bank statement and apayment via faster payment that I did NOT make for £140 had been made to ZSF. I googled them but still don t know what I d be paying for if I had made the payment. Had this number call me everyday. It s an automated machine call. I am going to email the company and tell them I will be charging them ?6 per call I receive plus another ?6 per minute duration of the call. And ?10 per letter / email I have to send them after.

Another number for my call blocker. This female asked for my wife by name, she said it was the hearing clinic. I asked her what she was selling. She said she wasn t selling anything. That immediately told me she was lying. Since this number employs people who tell lies, that means they can t be trusted and go into the category of criminals

This is a corker! You will like this one. So the girl calls me while I am sat in work - that isn t fair because I cannot string her along like I would normally. "We can help you with IVF, write of your debts" type of thing. Usually I would play along, and ask for lots of details - get the call to waste her time for about 5 or 10 minutes, like I said I say at my desk So she comes out with "this was actually set up by the queen" "What she set this up" "Yes" and I thought all she did was gro old
