This Asian sounding guy called saying he was from a company called Today's Living, apparently a survey and marketing company he said. He called before 9am. Well this was interesting! 028 4067 1515 (Banbury) just rang, it is Saturday at 10:55am. I did a quick google while the phone was ringing and came up with the Anglers Rest pub in Banbridge. Weird (I have no connection to the area) but seemingly legit. When I picked up, the caller said he was calling from Currys/PCWorld with a cheap mobile phone offer. I said I don't need a new phone and he said thanks and ended the call. The whole "using a legit number" is hella sneaky!!

Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(

Scam caller - claimed to be from Virgin. I kept them on the line for a while then when I told them I was aware they were a scammer they immediately became very abusive. Vulnerable people could be taken in.

I asked what the reason was for that and they said "well you have outstanding debt that you pay each month, is that right?" I said no, I don't have any debt and they hang up. I've never had a loan, not even an overdraft. So yeah, not a legit number/business.

I got a call from this number saying they were amazon and someone had purchase a £300 phone on my account. When I told him to cancel it he asked me to log on to my playstore account. When I said to him it was a scam and that I was not stupid he swore at me and ended the call
