SCAM Upon connection there was an electronic tone like you used to get with Skype. Man with thick accent tried to interest me in a motor accident I recently had and had “forgotten about”. When I said no I hadn’t had one I was immediately disconnected. This is not Aberdeen, it sounds more like India.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. Although initially we thought it was a scam so I even rang my pastor who assumed the same .Turns out they really seem to be legit and are asking for bank details on the phone as they only have a short time to give the grants of £100 each house to vulnerable peeps on PIP etc I rang their HQ from number on official site and it all seems sound so far.

The caller said she was from O2 and We were due for a free gift of Wireless Headphones as a security what was my place of birth. I found out that the fraudsters had chaned my password by going on the O2 website and requesting a 6 digit number and asking me to give it to them.. I don't thimk I have suffered losses . I obviously reset my password. The caller was an Indian female, this is not unusual as, Indian Call Centres are experts in fraud I have been involved in investigating Indian call centre.
