Just noticed this number on my Vodafone call list at a cost of £2.82 for 0 seconds!! Certainly don’t remember calling this number and getting through to a human at Vodafone is virtually impossible unless you are prepared to set aside at least an hour of your time ????

Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition

SCAM - calls to take card payments for advertising space that has never been taken do not pay them - offer 10% discount to pay today but there is no product? cannot send an invoice and when questioned he becomes rather angry and agitated said his name was James, very strong northern accent and we live down south on the coast so wouldn't be advertising near him anyway!

I'm getting calls from every day to every couple of days. We need our government to push these mobile phone company's to put strict call blocking from these crooks.
Got a call claiming to be a person from my college...a college I have not attended for more than a year at this point, their accent didn't seem English at all and I could barely hear them, I have yet to have a call back from it since the call got dropped.

Automated voice just says dear customer and transaction of over £900 on your visa card then ask you to press 1 to cancel its a scam they don't even call you by name.
SCAM Automated call on 10/7/23 at about 10am. Message said from Barclays fraud dept, payment of £800 pound to American on-line gambling noticed on visa account, press button 1 if not me. Thought it was a scam as bank wouldn't send automated call, phoned bank on their known number, bank said not on my visa account scam.

I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. SCAM. I got a very convincing text from this number but it is 100% a scam. The text said ‘ We attempted to deliver your EVRI parcel TZXXDA0732617072 today but no one was home. To avoid your parcel being returned visit: https://evri-parcelsecure.com’. The text was sent at 4am though so there was no way it was legit/they had tried to deliver that day. The link looks legit too but asks you to pay a redelivery fee.
Very abusive Asian caller, blocked the call from this number.

Persistently calling the last couple of digits of the number change to like 5176 or 5274 or 5175 etc. They call at antisocial hours eg Sunday mornings etc. I suspect, although I never answer, that they’re some kind of debt collector for councils.
This is a Cerebra number. They’re a children’s charity based in Carmarthen that fundraise to support children living with brain conditions and their families. got a call from this number saying they are calling from an insurance review service and asked for what life insurance I have and when was it last reviewed and what benefits I'm getting. After a few seconds stopped talking and I had to hang up. Very annoying.
