This number called 02 Aug 21 using the same recorded scam message as that from Tel 01482384599 (received 23 Jul 21) to inform of fraudulent/suspicious card activity....
Rang the number back from a landline and it goes straight to a vmail. It requests that you hold the line before being transferred. At no point did they give a clue as to who or what they are.

Well, this seems to be another range of numbers used by the same call centre or company (but it is more usual that call centre has some range of numbers dedicated for them), This one seems to use 02034760xxx range - so far we have collected numbers of +4420347606xx and +4420347603xx and +4420347600xx ranges, can be still the same call centre. All such numbers are mostly reported as some financial services, but as unsolicited calls. The main question is how they got our numbers...

Just got a call from this number telling me that I had made an overpayment of £2500 on my loan that I took in 2009. Then she started asking who I bank with and if the banks are either Barclays, Santander, Netwest etc. I wasn t even in the UK in 2009 so I started asking him questions on which loan I am due to a repayment on and then he hung up!

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 14136721xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident chasers, PPI. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
