Got a call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. Sounded dodgy with a fake accent. Just googled and found out this. Thanks and I did hang up too!

Now using 0161 850 1033 same story,they and others pressurisng my wife to make a claim following a minor car accident 2 years ago. I grabbed the phone and told them to drop it I would be taking action. Reported to ICO.org.uk and blocked the number. My business suffered through fraudulent claims and people need to make a stand against these parasites

I had a silent call (on 15/5/15)& as I was expecting a call from unknown people on this area code, I used 1471 and phoned back. I heard a recorded message "You were called today by Media Match. The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used.
