Suggested they had had a claim from my phone number 2 to 5 years ago. I replied that I thought they were a scammer and said I would report them to the police., Caller was polite and just said thank you.

Some fella called me saying he’d been given my number by a mutual friend called Antony McCarthy. I told him, I don’t know anybody called that. Then he asked what I’d heard about Broadway Studios. I told him, I wasn’t interested in them and not to phone me again. Following this I blocked the number. I then get bombarded with calls from withheld numbers which I’ve now blocked too.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range 15978884xx, just last 2 digits different) reported here already. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?
