i called them back and the recorded message said they were a marketing organisation which made calls on behalf of charities and the GOVERNMENT. i left a message saying not to call back. i m registered with TPS too so shouldn t be getting unsolicited calls like this

I am ex-directory and am also registered with the telephone preference service, yet I had two missed calls on my caller display from this number today. When I rang back to see who it was, I got a recorded message saying "you have dialled an incorrect number. Please check the number and redial." Obviously an untraceable number. As I have caller display on my landline, if I get calls from numbers I do not recognise, I do not answer the phone. Sooner or later, these sad individuals will get tried and stop ring
