Called asking for a different person, then hung up, rude and probably a scammer.

Fraud, scam, spam, silent call, same area code as the previous calls. When these people are located and hopefully heavily fined by the ICO, they won't be laughing then! Even if they think they can hide using a limited company, the directors will be held financially responsible.

SPAM I answered cos I was expecting call from an unnknown number. The lady on the phone had old info about me as they thought I still lived at my dad's. The line cut briefly and I said I couldn't hear them and then they said "I hope you die in a f*ckin car crash" and kept repeating similar insults.

Fraud said " crime taken place on your TAX and police are coming to arrest you unless you push 1 on your keypad now.

SPAM call. Pretending to be from Sky and asking if everything was ok with my service before telling me that my breakdown service has ended and that I paid £156 last year for the service, but he can give me a discount and for 1 year it would be £120 and for 2 years it would be £170. I told him 2 years sounded like a good deal (even though I never had a breakdown service with sky). I asked a simple question to him to confirm he is from Sky and it was “Can you tell me my name”. He hung up at this point.

Said he was from sky refunds and that I was due a refund of £202, (I am not even with Sky) Wanted my date of birth when I told him he should already have it he said he didn't have those details. asked him what my account number was, he didn't know. When I said I think was a scammer he put the phone down. Just confirming what everybody else was saying.
