3.15pm Monday 27th April, foreign male,gave his name as Chris Lewey, , gave the name of a company which I didn t quite catch,and that he wasn t trying to sell anything but wanted my opinion. He then asked if I had Sky TV at which point I said I wasn t interested in answering any questions. He thanked me politely and put the phone down. Initially when I answered the phone he asked for me by name.

Phoned my mobile but didn’t answer as didn’t recognise number. No message left so assume it’s a scam call.

This IS the number of ONE of the CSA/CMS offices.. there are several across the UK, including Northern Ireland. They cannot specify husband s details in case he has re-married for example.. Data protection act doesn t allow for mistakes.. DWP means Department of Works & Pensions (for those in the dark)

Got a call today from a foreign woman claiming to be from "Consumer Lifestyles" asking me to do a survey on my "lifestyle" ie shopping habits, likes and dislikes, all the usual crap to illicit personal details from you and even how to stop unwanted calls!! Boy, did I laugh especially when I said "Like the one your giving me now!" I have no connection with the area or tel no. I did return an item to a company in Cheshire some time ago apart from that it is mystifying.

So how does this help me?

Dont be polite to the scumbags who call you from this number they dont deserve it and will continue to call you whatever they say. TSP a waste of time

01515150604 13:14 13/06/2012 Received a call from this number, when I answered the guy introduced him self but did not disclose the company he was working for I asked him the purpose of his call and he wanted to HELP me. I then turned the tables on him and asked him what sort of help he could give me he then went on to sell me compensation for the ACCIDENT I had, He new more about the accident than i did as i have never had an accident. I then asked him why he thought I had an accident and needed his help.

I got a call from this number regarding PPI. I told the caller I wasnt interested & put the phone down. He then RANG ME BACK & demanded to know why Id hung up on him when I hadnt heard what he had to say. I told him I still wasnt interested but he persisted so I just kept saying ovet & over Im not interested until he lost his temper & hung up. Victory for me!!!

Accident claims - I was involved in a car crash recently and it seems they got my details from somewhere.

Safe number new system for NHS appointments, link does look ‘dodgy’ so didn’t access it but also in msg is option to to send text saying PRINT, which will mean a paper copy of the appointment is sent. I did this and letter came a couple of days later. Poorly thought out scheme as msg does look like a scam and no advertising saying this is their new system!

Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.
