SCAM I received an automated call from this number on my house phone, claiming to be informing me of an irregular payment on my credit card for the amount of £1,100 and also suspect activity on Amazon. My bank does not contact me on this number and I don't deal with Amazon. I hung up immediately and did not listen further.

Not sure about this number - a lady called Jo has just phoned me about energy conservation and need to check my loft insulation to. I am quite concerned as a surveyor is going to ring me to make an appointment to come and inspect the insulation. Have checked the number it’s from Peterborough! Won’t be letting anyone in my house.

This Asian sounding guy called saying he was from a company called Today's Living, apparently a survey and marketing company he said. He called before 9am. He tried to be persistent and ask me questions but he ended the call when he knew he wasn't getting anywhere with me It is very annoying to be awoken by an unsolicited call in the morning.

020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.

Missed call I suspect attempted scam. I’m getting a rush of varied timeshare scam call from varied mobile numbers, this looks like the latest attempt. I usually just clear and block when sure it’s not a genuine call but recently I spoke to one and was terse so might have got myself flagged for more aggressive attention, or maybe I’m just paranoid. Yet, another Solar Panel caller wanting to test our solar panels. Nothing more than a scam caller and told them so, if your panels are working, you can tell by the read outs and feed in tariff! If there is a fault, they wont work, if they are down and not working properly the read outs will tell you. The say they are employed to test the panels free of charge, all they will do is test and say your system can be improved. Be warned!

100% trustworthy because no-one has said otherwise yet????? Thats hardly a way to grade something. Maybe its 100% Scam but no-one has said otherwise. Other websites say its Indian call centres asking for details claim to be EE or o2 or Virgin so that doesnt sound very authentic does it - and if you havent asked for Indian call centres to call you its spam and a likely fraud
This came up on the phone display as a name/number in my contacts list. Then an Indian voice spoke and told me I was a valued customer and drivelled on in broken dialogue. I put phone down on him. 1471 told me it was this number and the call has appeared in my WhatApp.

Call received from a male with an Indian accent stating he was calling from Aviva, but his English was very bad and I said I couldn't understand him and asked for someone else to ring me if important. So far no response. There was a lot of chatter in the background and he didn't speak immediately when I answered the call.

Phone number who tried to get information about me and my house via a survey without explaining the purpose of it. They dropped the call as soon as I told them I didn't know who they were because I am a foreigner and had never heard of them.
Repeated calls from this number but no reply when I answer. Weird!
