If you DO NOT recognise this, please visit https://blockchain.idauth.exchange This is clearly a scam/ploy, as I have no association whatsoever with 'Blockchain Exchange' and never even heard of it before now. This number called my mobile. I did not answer, but wanted to check the number out first. there was no bad report on the number. when I tried to return the call there was no answer then a "click" in the line and a message that the "other person had hung up". this makes me think it s somebody trying to sell you something nobody wants

Phoned me 29 april /23 april/21 april and today at 06.00 2nd May. I answered but no response, some intermittent clicking and tone. I put the receiver down after about one minute I'd answered 'Hallo' but no other message identifying me.

SCAM, very clever scam claiming to be from Barclays mobile banking, they send you a sms message first informing you that a new device has been registered to your mobile banking app. They request you to call the number quoting a code they sent, when you call the number, they already have your name and welcome you by your name. They then request you to log in to your banking app and generate a code. (The one I gave them was NICE TRY A-HOLE) the person said thanks and hung up. Be very careful
Some depressed and dejected sounding indian fellow saying something about a discounted iphone or some nonsense, as per standard procedure I frustrated his efforts and wasted his time until he hung up.

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

Presume will then attempt to extort money, but don't listen to call beyond the first bit.
