Settled accident claim (9 months ago, not my fault, no physical injury sustained by me) and eventually accepted small payout after being hounded by solicitors. This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. Some idiots calling me - surely companies should be banned from this ridiculous practice. No point telling them to remove my name from your records , they don t hold records! They just buy a load of phone numbers and go through them til some mug gives them money.

HMRC scam tax call. Usual spiel, says there’s a warrant out, blah blah blah. Brand new number as per usual.
Missed call from this number which left voicemail, very heavy African accent, female automated voice, sounded a bit garbled. Said someone was "filing a lawsuit against you, press one now to talk to your caseworker" I ve heard of this scam doing the rounds, I ve now blocked this number and registered it with "Should I answer" app as dangerous scam.
