Claiming to be from TALKTALK saying I have problems with internet connection !! When challenged caller put phone down
SCAM caller said a large sum of money had been taken from my account, and I should call back with my card details. At that point I hung up. Beware! SCAM
I revived a call today from this number! Just wandering whom that might be!
Auto message - purporting to be from HMRC, case open in your name, Press 1 to connect. DO NOT engage. Fraud / scan call! Block number to prevent further contact.

This number rang out on my phone three times before hanging up on 22/06/2022 .A similar number +94938528005 rang on my wife,s phone on the evening before and also hung up after three rings. It seems a bit suspicious to me.
Asked if my name was correct, told me that companies has taken money from the public and they wanted me to reclaim it, I said "You know what, I want you to delete my information from your database", he replied "whys that then?" to which I replied, "Because I don t want my information kept on your system" and he replied "You won t get your money back then *sniggering/laughing*" and then hung up before I could reply to his comment.. very rude and unprofessional
