Please watch out for these scumbags - they will also send a very official looking booklet claiming to be from Scottish Widows via e-mail A couple of guys calling themselves Tom & Jamie but when you try calling their number it doesn't connect They are very polite and professional on the phone If you send them any money you will never see it again - luckily we didn't get caught but it was close

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). When I politely declined, the caller said (as they hung up) "Fuck you, fuck you in the face". Which may well have been the only genuine thing about the call. Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.

Ethnic gentalman offering Medic alarm personal system for free when challenged suddly came up as only £39. 00p per month for 1st 6 months (Not exactly free) try to confuse me with medical science I am a retired Paramedic so when I presented some possible medical situations using medical words the phone went silent. DO NOT fall for this as the system he was offering is free under NHS for vulnerable.
Automated call. I didn’t speak on picking up My mobile, as I don’t know anyone in London. After about 3 seconds the phone hung up. No voices heard on their end, it just rang off. I’m having these hang ups 1–2 week. I don’t know why, I’ve Not had an accident or made any claims?

Was bored and made up some data, they they pass you to someone who tries to sell you a policy. They quote the FCA many times - but when pushed confirm they are not regulated by them. Hang up, or have 5 mins of fun winding them up
Fraud SPAM: We’ve been speaking to BT about this and they confirmed the call was indeed a scam. A spokesperson from BT told us, “We’ll never call a customer to tell them their router or IP address has been compromised or ask for any personal information, including bank details unexpectedly and we’ll never call from an ‘unknown’ number.

The organisation using this number are expert scammers. They already had my o2 mobile phone number, contract account number and asked me to confirm my address before offering a discount on my tariff. I was aware it was a scam and played dumb for a while until they sent me the text which would have given them full access to my account had I replied to it. After wasting their time for 10 minutes, I told them I knew they were scammers and they became very abusive, then misscalled my number around 20 times

They said they were from HMRC. That I was due a refund due to my tax on a ppi claim. I have never claimed on a ppi form. I asked them to put the information in the post, they declined saying they don’t use the post. I then said we’ll send me an email and if you are HMRC you will have my email address. They then said if I changed my mind to phone them. Very strange
SPAM John called, said "I understand you still have a driveway?" My reply "I'm sorry but how did you get this number?" He didn't tell me, so I said I subscribe to TPS for no cold callers. He apologised & hung up. Very amiable, & I was polite too :) Only use my landline for emergencies so any call to it arouses my suspicions!
