Just took a call from this number - they asked for me by name and then said I had recently entered a competition and thats how they got my number and they wanted to save me money on my power supplier - I politely explained I wasnt the bill payer and wasn t interested. The guy then demanded to speak to the bill payer - I told him they are not available and not interested. He then went on a rant at me - at which point I hung up and blocked the number. My mum got a slightly dodgily worded text from this number quoting the last four digits of her Co-operative Bank card and asking if she'd made some transaction or other (which she hadn't). She phoned the bank (not the number that sent the text) and found that there had indeed been a number of fraudulent transactions on her card. So the number is very probably legit, but I recommend you phone the bank to be on the safe side ????
