Fraud Got txt msg from this number today at 17.04. Here's the text: Hello, You were not in when our driver tried to reach you today. Please go to: https://route-reschedule51.com (Livelink in the txt) We were not expecting any deliveries and so far there has been no follow up.. I am convinced this is the well-known Courier Scam. I did not follow the link and would recommend others to do the same. If anyone decides to try, I suspect you'll be invited to pay a small fee for redelivery or collection -
I had a call from this number this morning at 10.49 (approx) and a recorded message came which told me that my Visa card had been used by someone for £900. I didn't bother to listen to the whole message as it was obvious to me that it was a scam. Interestingly I waited a few minutes and then called the number back (which I don't usually bother to do) and a very nice lady answered who said that she ran a clinic. It became obvious that she was genuine and that the scammers had used her number.

Very annoying when callers cannot be bothered to leave a message on answerphone, makes me think they are spammers.
This was a call about life insurance, and could save £1000 of the policy. They couldn't tell me who my policy was with, or the policy number and had the incorrect post code, so I played along with them, requesting that they give me those details first. They then changed their story and said it was a survey and asked again who my policy was with, and so it went on and on and they gave up. Number blocked from future calls, but that won't work as they have dozens of numbers. Always a woman of foreign descent.

Said he was phoning about how we pay our energy bill. Asked for full name,address,DOB,to confirm my identity! I held back and did not supply details as I suspected the call could be a scam. He offered to send an email (knew my email address) and then phone back. I told him to call in an hour as I was busy. No email received and he has not called back. When I checked this number on 'who called me' it made me super-glad I didn't fall for it. This is the most sophisticated scam call I have received - BEWARE !!

They were going to get my grants and everything but they are not communicating by email which is strange. When I ask them to send me an email they don’t send any email. Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Caller did not like fact I knew this and I immediately said I am not looking to review my life cover, he told me to “grow up” and hung up!
