Attempt at an O2 scam, told me I was entitled to a free gift and discount on my tariff as a loyalty reward. I then got sent text messages from O2 with a security code that the caller wanted (not given). It was an attempt to access/take over my account.

Didn't answer as keep getting similar numbers call for surveys & saying I can get a free voucher then when they get back to you they say you have to sign up for something with payment details for the voucher. Sometimes when I've answered it just goes dead. Similar numbers have also been people saying stuff about help with debt or ppi's, also some saying about claims for an accident that I've never had. Assuming it was O2 trying to sell me a new telephone contract, like the previous people reported, then it s quite shocking to think I would have had to pay O2 for the dubious privilege of receiving an unsolicited telephone call from them offering to sell me something. :-(
