The message claimed to be from NatWest asking me to call which I did. I was asked to hold for a good 5 minutes. I was asked for account number and sort code but not for any card details. They said they did not know why I had received the message. When I rang NatWest fraud number they said that this is NOT a genuine NatWest number. Nothing untoward appears to have happened on my account. I await my phone bill!

I had a call from these following looking on line out of curiosity. I was given a lot of information to consider and said yes call back but I'm not sure. Got a pushy call back. When I said I wasn't interested the bloke kept asking why. He was so defensive I hung up. So he called back and got my husband, where he was really rude, said he'd gone to a lot of trouble for me. Now keeps calling and calling.

Number called twice, purporting to be from Caernarfon. Hangs up on answering. In my experience this is an auto-dial check to make sure that a real person answers the number. I will no doubt be getting calls from the Indian subcontinent, with the caller using redirect software to make the call appear to be coming from the UK. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Be aware people this could be just a money trap, who uses numbers with shared rate...? In most cases they just ring once to make you call them back. Did someone answer this number, some more info?
