They have aquired your mobile number via an old loan application. They say that they have loan application when infact they only have your name and number. if you pay them a fee and then they promise to call you in 48 hours, you will never hear from them again and may block your number - ho and empty your bank account. DO NOT GIVE THEM BANKING DETAILS ESPECIALLY DEBIT CARD DETAILS. INDIAN SCAM, LETS HOPE THEY GET A LARGER EARTH QUAKE IN FUTURE.

Yet another annoying call regarding insurance - those companies call about 3 times daily and never give up - if I am not interested in discussing insurance after the first call, I'm going to be very angrily uninterested after the 50,0000th call!!!! This number is Santander. They contacted me when I tried to make a large transaction via Western Union and needed to confirm it was me. I was successfully able to make the transaction after the call. Very helpful.

I?ve just had a call from this number. I get this type of thing every few days from other numbers. Everyone should just stop answering and making 0845 calls, then perhaps then the Telco?s who make money out of this sort of thing may actually do something about scam calls.

When I said they should get in touch by sending me a letter, the person cut the phone. Trying to prey on innocent people who might fall for this.
