Always calling because I owe them money. Have an arrangement setup but they still call. Just don t answer it if you ve got am agreement in place.

Had a call from this number, which actually came up as 0131-772-1111, and an Asian male asked for a particular person. I gave my normal response never heard of them. I continual...

Silent caller but expecting a call back now that I have answered.

Got a text saying: We have been tring to contact you regarding your accident, we now have details of how much you are due, just reply CLAIM and we will post you a pack out Obvious scam.

This number keeps calling one of our company mobiles. It s very frustrating please leave us alone it s harassment!!!!!!

I answered this call and it was from a local O2 upgrades team. They explained they had my information as I had opted in to allow marketing calls from O2 but not 3rd parties. I ve since changed to opt out but did upgrade with them as they were very helpful and offered me a really good deal I couldn t get through my local store. Hope this helps others :-)

Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Hi I worked for this company. They buy your details from either the blackmarket or datasets where you have opted in. So if you bought something somewhere online that required your number chances are you inadvertently opted in. They use a network of local numbers to seem reputable. The liverpool branch specialises in road traffic accident. They ll fish about for details asking you that they were informed a car accident was reported by your household within the last 2.5-3 years. That s just the time frame

A recorded message saying there are 2 payments from my card to Amazon for (... amounts irrelevant.... ) please press 1 to speak to an advisor.... SCAM heard it before.

Just got a call from this number asking for someone with the correct surname and initial but different first name. I said they had the wrong number; she then asked me if we lived at an address that I d never heard of; I said no; so she asked me if we lived in an area without mains gas supply; I said no. She thanked me for my help, and that was it. I have no idea what it was all about???
