I have had this number call me about once a day for the last couple of weeks. Each time I answer the line goes dead. I m assuming its an auto dialer and there s no agent available to take my call when the line connects. I have now barred them on my phone. Time wasters.

Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. Automated call From local number. Message said fraudulent transaction has been found on VISA, press 1 to cancel this transaction. After hanging up at this point, the caller appeared to stay on the line for a couple of minutes to catch me making an outgoing call to my bank. Verified this by calling my landline from a mobile which rang engaged, a short time later I tested my landline again and it was clear.
I had a phone call from this company called Eco Management ( an asian guy called Michael Singh ID d himself ( because I asked him to) - it was about solar panels, & saving energy i googled this & there was a site for them in birmingham - however the number was nowhere near it. These clowns told me they were from the tax office. They informed me that a Policeman was 45 minutes away unless I paid a recalculated tax bill. They started shouting when I wouldn t give them my bank details. Put the phone down on these chancers.

Thankfully I had misread the number and wondered if it was another scam call so I waited for the other to speak first. There was no response and the call was ended. After checking online (on other sites), I have now blocked this number.
