This number rings me twice a day on my mobile, I have blocked it but the ring on another 0845 number
Indian scammers now have the facility to send information to your phone that displays a different number to where they are phoning from. Hence this number does not belong to the scum trying to tel me they are from Amazon and have that I have just been charged for an Iphone 7 for £350 which has been deducted from my bank account. Total rubbish of course as they just want you to give them your bank account details.

Tell you that there is an arrest warrant issued for tax evasion and if you want to sort it before they attend to press an option. Scam call. Doesn’t matter if you block the call they just keep on from different telephone numbers, same recorded message

Female automated voice ‘Hi, this is your reminder that your Amazon Prime subscription has been auto-renewed and you have been charged seventy nine nine nine’ (No currency mentioned!) Press 1 to cancel, press 2 for any other queries. Identical call to one I had from this dialling code last week.
Rang from 01373763514 also had an identical "no voice, but background noises" the other day from 01373 763857. No end to this stupidity!

Fraud - this number is an establishment who is claiming to be The Halifax Bank and they aren’t. They ask if a transaction has been done that day in a store, it gives the amount and time. I have been caught out before by this, but not this time. And on occasion they come up with the identical number of what the Halifax Bank Fraud Teams actual number is. They are very clever and very dishonest people.
SPAM - claims to be Carphone Warehouse trying to sell a new phone contract; I'm on TPS so it's either spam, or just not genuine.

Silent call This number calls our landline every day, even Sunday. No-one speaks and then the call is disconnected. Very annoying. No idea who this is.
