Getting multiple calls EVERY SINGLE DAY from this number reaching back since July! I have no information on who they are.

Keeps calling us harassing us about our utilities.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK DETAILS to them over the phone. Im not sure who these ppl are. But Ive seen theyve rang up alot of ppl saying they ve won a makeover. Well apparently you gotta pay £40 as a deposit. Now..Im not sure is this company is legit but it s not worth the risk. Do not accept..Ask for more details like I did. The man just got disinterested and hung up on me. He was impolite and rude.

fake mobile number ending with INTERNATIONAL Received 6 various fake numbers in the last hour, including a prefix 0099 01788. 07860, 07834

Number actually shows as 0019798234079 on caller ID but this site seems to drop the 00. This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Aggressive PPI calls. After being told the call was unwelcome, instead of finishing the call the caller started trying to wind me up.

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.
