Silent caller at 11:40 AM. Suspiciously received another silent call from 07494287367 four hours earlier at 7:40 AM.

Phoned twice this morning. First time said she’d dialled 1471 and our number had called her. Second time hung up when answered.
Ask me to download and install a software to get back money lost in the past in a fraud. Surely a new fraud or scam.
Said they were calling to offer free inspection of loft insulation because the Government has designated some of the old stuff as "irritant". I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. Awaiting callback from my GP when this call came. Male caller talked about a free medical emergency pendant, but implied that there was a paid membership. It increasingly sounded like a sales call and I couldn't really see how this related to my medical issue. He asked about my willingness to give a testimonial, talking about medical response times, peace of mind for family - I was becoming further mystified as to why I was being called. Suspicious.

Claimed to be from credit card fraud department. Automated message saying a charge of over one hundred pounds has been made on my card from Amazon, also a foreign transaction of over one thousand pounds. Asked me to press buttons to authorise or talk to an advisor. Total scam.
Just called my mobile - auto voice telling me HMRC have a returned letter and legal proceedings are about to start, press 1 to speak to someone - OF COURSE I hung up - clearly a scam!!
