First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. Received a call today (25.01.23) stating I was being investigated by HMRC and to press number 1 to speak with an operative. I just did nothing and the call was ended automatically. I'm guessing this was a scammer! Blocked of course.

They asked to speak to me by name,when I said this was she, they said they "understood that I was looking for a personal pension review....? " I replied no they asked "Oh have you had one already ?" when I responded no and I don t know how you got this number they said "Oh I m sorry I ll have your number and details removed....." I hung up.

I received a pre-recorded message from this number claiming that an unauthorized payment has been taken from my Amazon account and that an unauthorized international transfer has taken place from my bank account. I believe this to be a SCAM so, beware!!
07796994500 is some poor sod who has got themselves hooked up with a scammer, and is thus trapped into making nuisance cold calls to the innocent general public like us. Just hang up.

I had a call from a health centre saying they were doing a senior health check, how do these people sleep at night!!!
Woman called us (despite being registered with TPS, for what it's worth). She did not identify herself or their company clearly, and fired a barrage of questions at us, despite our refusal to interact with her. She said she could not remove our number from their database as "she hadn't completed her interaction with us, so we'd just receive further calls!". Her tone was extremely aggressive.
Fraud Extremely suspicious recorded message claiming to be from HMRC. Tells you to press 1 immediately or a warrant will be issued in your name. But naturally it doesn't know your name because it's a blatant scam.
