This number called claiming we had poor internet connection, very persistent insisting I go into my emails whilst he was on the phone. Our connection only checked the day before was fine. Be aware of this.
Responded to call wilt 'Hello' - their phone immediately put down! Not expecting any contact from this area code - very suspect call, perhaps to establish occupancy?. Possible fraudulent intent.

Caller said they were from State Pension and asked too many questions. We just hung up. Please do the same for your financial security.

The second one today from the same stable - only the 2 digits at the end are different. Both calls from Manchester. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!
