Trying to send information about funeral plans, this happens a day after my Dad passed away. That call I feel was inappropriate, I know it is something that is going to happen to us all at some point but to cold call is wrong. Thank goodness I answered the call and not my Mum!

Could hear caller doing fake laughing just like HA HA HA HA HO HO HO HO rang back no answer.
I had a call at about 3:30 this morning but didn t get to it quick enough to answer, just rang the number back and apparently the dialled has not been recognised, sounds odd to me!

Cold caller claiming I could get a tax rebate if I wash work clothes. Told her I was already aware of that fact and I didn t need some a**hole cold caller trying to scam me. She hung up! Oops, my bad!

Poor chap has had his number sold to insurance scammers (or cloned by them). They will call you to scam you, but when you call back, a normal guy who has unfortunately been tied up in this will answer.

A man called, asking to speak to me (so knew my mobile number and name) and said he was from some pensions advisor service. Same questions as previous calls, was I aware of recent pension changes in the law etc. I was a bit vague so he said he would pass me onto a senior advisor at which point I hung up.
I received a missed call from this number, when called back heard a musical tone (no ringing) answered straight away and knew my name as my number hadn't been blocked. Asked to whom I was speaking and was advised that it was the "Motor Investigation Bureau" regarding a recent minior incident. Without confirming who I was, I pressed for mor information and was advised that it was regarding a minor accident involving my vehicle whereby a negligent driver had bumped into my car.
