SCAM / SPAM Received an automated claiming to be from HMRC stating that there was a fraud case against me and I needed to press 1 otherwise I would be arrested shortly. I just hung up as it's obviosuly a scam.
Came via an MMS mesage on my E_mail. It cam e from the mobile company O2.co.uk. Probably an effort to get me to call their number which will cost me money and is thus a SCAM.

Upon answering a call on the land line around 18:30 this evening, the caller hung up so out of curiosity I dialled 1471 (UK), the call back service and I pressed 3 on my phone to be put directly through to the missed call number. I didn t catch the receivers company name but heard a American or maybe Canadian Man s accent and instructions for extension required. Fraud Of the worst kind Attempting to cause anxiety. Recorded message says it’s HMRC, it is not Says phone back immediately or a warrant will be issued for your arrest. Some will be worried enough to do this but nothing good will come of responding I am also reporting to police.

Telemarketing/survey from Beneficial, I have had many calls from this 'group' and find them very annoying. Repeatedly requested that my number be removed from their list yet they still phone me, so I block their numbers!

Fraud Recorded message saying it was from "Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs" claiming there was a "tax fraud claim against me", and to "press 1 to be connected". If I didn't press 1, a warrant for my arrest would be issued and I would be "arrested immediately". Guess what? I didn't press 1 and have not been arrested. They must think we are all stupid.

Received a call from this number early hours in the morning.
Asian telephoned my aging mother in law nearly every week about some sort of consumer survey. Would not identify himself or his company, admitted to calling from S.E.Asia. Would not get off line, did not understand the concept of F*** Off and kept talking until I put the phone down. A complete nuisance and very disturbing for my disabled aged mother in law.
