at this point a misdial from a local number, in which case no harm done I don't use my landline except for internet connections and never answer it if it rings. If this number rings again I will block the number. If it was someone I knew they would have my mobile number and know to use it.

I received a call from this number at 16:55 to tell me that the government owed me over ?4k I gave no bank details and when I asked what company they were calling from I was told it was a dept of the UK Government. I was also given ref no.RB51. I was told to call back in 5 mins to speak to a manager who would explain further and send me my cheque. If it was the UK Government surely they would write to people!!!

This is an affiliated number belonging to a set redirected through a Company called Nexbridge Communications Ltd. They re a bunch of prats with nothing better to do than flog any old crap for clients and their call redirection service will show different locations where the call came from. Phone rang - no response when I answered so I hung up

Checked Energy prices this morning took care not to advise home or Mobile number yet these people appear to have related my enquiry to my Mobile.I have raised issues about these type of Companies with Ofcom to no avail.We have call blockers on both Home and Mobiles but they Bypass by using 0044 as the initial access point.Even TPS is ignored.
