Answered the call, nobody spoke and they hung up. Can't ring them back - seems like the phone number doesn't exist.

Bellends rang this morning on a bank holiday. When I answered, it seemed to ring at their end then their was a slight pause after which I could hear some background noise like it was a call-centre before it was terminated.

this call comes from the all inclusive club trying to sell cheap holidays at all inclusive hotels. Once you have bought into the scheme they bombard you with calls trying to get more money out of you. its impossible to ring back on the number to tell them to stop ringing as well, as you get the "line discontinued" tone. Comes from a call centre abroad i think. I ve had numerous calls over the last few days and each time i answered they just hung up on me, so not answering them anymore.

SPAM Have been called several times by this number now. Every time it's the same bloke asking if I'm the homeowner and saying I've obviously taken advantage of the govt offer of lift insulation, about 10years ago. Despite me telling him (every time) that I don't HAVE a loft I still get these spam calls. If I try to get a word in sideways I get cut off. It's becoming harassment now.

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. Electronic voice warned me that my TalkTalk internet would be disconected this evening and gave me the option to either press 1 to keep it or 2 to disconnect. Goodness knows what would have happened if I had pressed either number. I logged in to TalkTalk and of course there was no mention of a disconnection.

Called and sent text. Text said that they wanted to discuss business opportunity (???) It IS Advantis, which I understand is a collection agency with gov contracts, but I, WITHOUT ANY DOUBT WHATSOEVER, have NO debt, never mind outstanding debt, and I am DEFINITELY NOT connected to any HMRC "issues", either myself or vicariously. So obviously they either make mistakes, or they are involved in other activities outside of outstanding debt.
