Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. I said OK go ahead.Told to be sure as call recorded. 'Good I replied, then you are also recorded. They rang off.

Silent call I have been rung around 10 times over 2 days feom this number. They hang up very quickly and it is not possible to ring them back. When I was quick enough to pick up their call, there was no one, so a silent call.

Claim to be undertaking a survey but asking questions about private health insurance and how much I pay per month and who insurance is with. This is not a UK government department calling. Rings from different numbers all over the country - put through a router to make it appear as if they are from different cities. Could be dangerous for someone who believes this to be a genuine government call

01202627797 called today. It was automated and said they were from Visa fraud team. They were holding a payment of £800 (and something) pounds which was a suspicious payment on a gambling site in America. I was told to press 1 if this wasn't me and to be connected to the fraud team. Obviously I just hung up, searched the number which didn't come up with anything, I checked my bank accounts and rang the bank's fraud number. As I thought, it was a scam.

SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.
This number has been calling most days since the last week of October. Unfortunately, I try and avoid answering unknown numbers, so I have no idea who or what is calling.

Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.

Some indian guy claiming to be from a quality center clqiming that I had registered at some trading platform. I was absolutely sure I hadn't registered on the site by mistake as all my information was there. Funny enough he could not give me the date of my supposed registration! Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back.
