Male Asian voice claimed to be from Talk Talk phoning customers about the internet connection being currently unsafe!! I put the phone down after saying that I was not interested.
Just told me that they were calling from HMRC and a fraud had been registered under my name and to press 1. I did not do so and when I try to call back it will not connect. I suspect a scam.

This is NOT a Preston code. They are scammers, offering free services for building work etc. TPS cannot do anything about these calls.
Caller said she was from "Energy Advisors" and that they work alongside my energy supplier. I asked who was my enery supplier and she said "EDF". This was wrong. Asked why she was calling me she said she was acting on "a lead". I told her that this was completely untrue as she clearly didn't even know who was my energy supplier. If you really want or need to speak to me, then leave a message on my answer machine, simple!! - these people will never leave a message and I will NEVER answer their harrassment calls on a number that I don t recognise. I have now blocked this number from ringing me any more.
