Called on a withheld number and said he was from Homespace Southampton asked to speak to me. Told him we were on Telephone Preference Service and he put the phone down.

Indian voice claiming there is a problem with my computer. Common scam. Some people must fall for this nonsense or they wouldn't keep trying it. BEWARE!

CHECKING MY BANK STATEMENT I FOUND A DEBIT OF ?99.99 FROM A FREE TIME CD. I RANG THE BANK WHO WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS FROM A PURCHASE I HAD MADE ABOUT A MONTH EARLIER. AFTER I PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND GOOGLED THE NUMBER I FOUND THIS WEBSITE.
