Claimed to be from Currys PC World , sounds more to me like a foreign call centre. This was an unsolicited call, believe it is a scam call - to be avoided at all costs

Said they were from the 3 network and the caller with a strong Indian accent said his name was John.deffo a SCAM

SCAM An incomprehensible squeaky voice on the usual bad callcenter line and given an O2 security code turned up a few seconds later that's presumably what they were asking for to scam my account. Nothing good to be found here.

(Doesn’t even say positive for what) Fools! I attempted to look up the web address on my iPad and it came up as non existent. Presumably they would have tried to make me pay for them.

This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. I know ut won't do any good but I must be annoying them and stopping them catching anyone else out.

I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. This phone number showed up on my t-mobil account attached to my name they charge me a 20 dollar fee as well as 3 and some change for late fees. This line is not connected to my actual account but shows up and charges me every month

Resin driveway scam. Reverse call back revealed name of company as Telepro Marketing (dial 141 before calling back number to suppress your telephone number, so they cant see you called them).

Scam calls usually related to Crypto. They generate new fake spoofed numbers (including this one), and call from UK, China, and other random countries. Previous owner of my phone number must have signed up on their website for information, but they have been calling me for over a year despite me saying its not the right person.

The phone number is in London, but caller said he was calling from Manchester, UK!

Well spoken young male claiming to be from BT business and looking to review my phone usage and how I could reduce my costs. When I advised him that this was a residential line he said that as it was still being used for a business he could probably still save me money. When I showed disinterest he advised me that I would need to have a conversation with them soon as BT were discontinuing analogue phone services next year and we would lose our service if we didn't transfer to digital. So this number comes up for a Polish restaurant Folk House Zakopane in London. Well they'd have no reason to be calling people out of the the blue and 'Max' claimed he was calling from Carphone Warehouse.
