SCAM Call initiated by pressing 1 from within a voicemail The voicemail announced a potentially fraudulent purchase on Amazon of £399. They asked if purchase made. We said no. They then asked to get in front of our computer to check security. At that point call was terminated.

SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.

Possible spam or scam call. Caller mumbled something about BT openreach and tried to have a conversation with me. When I enquired what the call was about, he replied that he "just wanted to talk to me"....???? And then hung up.

I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. Called my aging father and said they were calling about an existing insurance policy for kitchen appliances.. one that we had and it needed renewed. He holds another policy with a well known company and it wasn't them. They were insistent that he had to renew it and he eventually hung up on them.
